Male chicks may come leg banded for easy identification. Remove leg band within 7 days.

Meyer Hatchery’s assortment of bantam chickens is a wonderful way to add a mixture of small, active chickens to your flock. With proper and gentle handling, bantams miniature size makes them just right for children and the backyard. Bantam chickens when full-grown range from about 1 to 2 pounds, and lay slightly smaller eggs.

When you purchase at least 10 Assorted Bantam Day Old Chicks, you will receive at least five (5) different varieties of any bantam breed that we carry, including hybrids. Different colors of the same breed will be counted as separate varieties. No special requests are accepted on assortments. The breeds will be hatchery choice, and we are not able to mark or record the included breeds. Price is per chick.

This is not a service Meyer Hatchery is able to provide, so to assist in this, we have created a chick identification tool that will help you out in identifying your chicks.
