Cayuga Duck Hatching Eggs

IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh from our breeding flock and shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

The Cayuga duck is an American domestic breed originating in the Finger Lakes area of New York around 1840. Principally kept for meat production, the Cayuga has become a backyard and homesteading favorite with its eye-catching plumage and curious nature. Cayuga ducks have beautiful black feathers with iridescent green tones. They’re a quiet bird that will lay 130-180 gray-tinted eggs each year.
