Fowl Restraining Cone

These cones are standard, necessary fare for butchering poultry. Secure the cones near where you want to dress the birds. Slide birds into the top of the cone, hold their legs out the top, and guide their head through the small hole at the bottom. The cone prevents the bird from flopping and running off (and reduces the risk of you cutting yourself instead of the bird). These cones are all 20 gauge 100% stainless steel and have flat backs for easier mounting.

• Small: use for game birds or small chickens. Cone measures 8 3/4" tall in the front, 9 5/8" in the back. The top large opening measures 5 3/8" across and the small open measures 1 1/2".
• Medium: use for a 2 1/2 to 3-pound birds. Cone measures 10" tall in the front, 10 1/2" in the back. The top large opening measures 7 5/8" across and the small open measures 2 1/4".
• Large: use for 3 to 8-pound birds, such as pastured poultry. Cone measures 15 3/8" tall in the front, 16 3/8" in the back. The top large opening measures 8 7/8" across and the small open measures 2 3/8".
• X-Large: use for 8 to 24-pound birds, such as turkeys. Cone measures 17 3/4" tall in the front, 18 1/2" in the back. The top large opening measures 10 7/8" across and the small open measures 4".
