Frizzle (FS) Easter Egger Day Old Chicks

Frizzle (FS) Easter Eggers are an excellent choice for those who love a surprise! Much like our most popular choice for families, the Easter Egger, you can expect 4-6 medium to large colorful eggs weekly. Egg color will range from olive green to blue, with the possibility of a rose or brown color. Frizzle Easter Eggers will feather out with smooth or frizzle feathers in a variety of different colors giving each bird a unique appearance. Features such as feathered legs, muffs/beards, and crests are possible and will vary from bird to bird. To view one of our Frizzle Easter Eggers in action, hop over to Instagram and watch our brand ambassador demo reel!

The frizzle feathering doesn't show in the baby chicks but will show up by 3 weeks of age. Since the trait does not breed true, some of your chicks will develop smooth feathers and the others will be frizzled. Read more about Frizzle Presentation in Poultry.

This breed is a hybrid. Hybrids are created by crossing two different parents and will not breed true. Crosses are generally created for vigor and production qualities, but also for desired traits such as egg color or feather patterns. We do not disclose what breeds we use to create our designer breeds as that is considered a trade secret.
