IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped on Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

Green Queen eggs are green in color and range from sage to aqua, but some can be tinted brown, or even pink. Green Queens are a hybrid. The Green Queen was originally created by Meyer Hatchery to satisfy customers who were wanting a good colorful laying bird with a friendly and calm personality. No two birds will look alike. They come in a wide range of colors and patterns, most of them are bearded, some will have feathered legs, and some can have 5 toes. This unique bird is a great choice to add variety and color to both your backyard and your egg basket!

Green Queens are a hybrid. Hybrids are created by crossing two different parents and will not breed true. Crosses are generally created for vigor and production qualities, but also for desired traits such as egg color or feather patterns. We do not disclose what breeds we use to create our designer breeds as that is considered a trade secret.
