You will receive any straight-run hatchery choice broad-breasted turkey poult offered by Meyer Hatchery. You may receive Broad Breasted White, Broad Breasted Bronze, or the exclusive Meyer Hatchery's Signature Broad Breasted Black or Meyer Hatchery's Signature Broad Breasted White. The broad-breasted turkey varieties are fast-growing, heavy, tender, and succulent meat-producing birds. If properly fed and housed, they can grow to a live weight range of 20 to 40+ pounds in a short time!

Broad Breasted Turkeys are typically ready for processing at 16-22 weeks. Broad Breasted Turkeys are a special hybrid that we have fine-tuned over many generations specifically for fast growth rates for meat production. Because they are a hybrid, you cannot cross a male and female Broad Breasted Turkey and hatch out more Broad Breasted Turkeys. Additionally, for their own health and well-being, Broad Breasted Turkeys should not be kept beyond their processing age of 16-22 weeks. We strongly advise brooding turkey poults separately from your chicks due to the different nutritional needs of each.

Using this product code, you are able to add between 3 and 8 broad breasted turkeys to your order. To calculate shipping rates for these turkeys, 1 turkey = 2 chickens. Meaning if you have 5 turkeys and 5 chicks = 15 total and your shipping rate is $15.00 instead of $50. 3 turkeys (6) + 3 chicks = 9 for a shipping rate of $50.00.

If you chose to vaccinate your order, please also note that turkeys will not receive the vaccination. You will, however, be charged for it during checkout. You are welcome to chat or email us and we can refund the charge.

If you are looking to add more than 8 broad breasted turkeys, please place a separate order for them using one of the other broad breasted products as they ship best in their own box at higher quantities.
