IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh from our breeding flock and shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

Can’t decide on which Runner to add to your flock? This hatching egg assortment of Runner Ducks is a great way to add more color to your flock at a reduced cost. This assortment could contain any of the following colors: blue, fawn & white, black, or chocolate. Unlike other domestic breeds of ducks, Runner ducks are more upright in their stance and quite spirited. They’re great foragers, move quickly, and can easily cover a lot of distance. These qualities make them great training birds when working with herding dogs. Runner ducks are also a high egg producer, very often outperforming their chicken counterparts. Runners will lay 100-180 eggs per year. While great egg producers, they’re not a great mother or broody duck.
