IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

Lavender and Black Split to Lavender Orpington Hatching Eggs are brown to light pink tinted in color. This dual-purpose breed is frequently broody and is revered for excellent mothering. Orpingtons are known for their beautiful, fluffy appearance. Lavender Orpingtons are docile and friendly and make an excellent addition to a family flock. Meyer Hatchery’s Lavender Orpingtons are the American strain. Eggs received will be a hatchery choice mix of both Lavender Orpingtons and Black Split to Lavender Orpingtons.
