White Crested Ducks are an all-white medium-sized breed that makes a unique pet with its fancy top knot of feathers. While these ducks can be used as utility ducks they are mostly used as pets and ornamental. Originally derived from Pekins, they make good layers and surely stand out in the crowd. White Crested Ducks lay a good amount of medium off-white eggs, 3 to 4 each week, or 100 to 130 per year. The White Crested has no flying ability, do not make good mothers and are fair at foraging.
