The Buff Toulouse is similar to the common French Toulouse goose. Instead of gray, it has a soft medium buff color, similar to the American Buff goose but larger in size. The Buff Toulouse will also have the large dewlap like the French Toulouse. The buff color gene is recessive, so mating a Buff Toulouse with a French Toulouse should produce all gray offspring. All varieties of Toulouse geese are friendly and inquisitive birds that can be raised for the table if desired.
