Weeding Geese

Brown and White Chinese geese have excellent capabilities for weeding and are a top homestead pick because they are also known for their guardian abilities and they lay a good amount of eggs. Note--Weeding geese will not typically touch your mature gardens, berries, or trees, but once they eat all the weeds, what they can reach does become fair game! Also, keep an eye on your baby plants as they can be confused as weeds to the geese.

Waterfowl have a minimum of 3 and you are able to mix and match among day-old duckling and gosling breeds to meet this minimum. We are not able to combine day-old waterfowl with any other poultry types. Waterfowl will ship on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, USPS priority mail, and arrive 1-3 days later.
